Middle & Upper Divisions - Lions Wrestling Camp

June 10-14

Whether it's providing instruction essential to building a solid foundation for a young wrestler's future or expanding the limits of an experienced wrestler, Coach Quilty and his staff will provide both individual and team instruction students entering grades 7-12.

Beginning wrestlers will gain valuable experience through daily instruction and drilling on basic technique. The physical education wrestling unit will be reviewed and reinforced, while new technique will be introduced each day.

Middle Division team members will be exposed to new technique including a wider variety of takedowns, escapes, pinning and leg riding.

JV and Varsity wrestlers will focus on setups and finishes to their takedowns through the use of videotapes and then apply these methods in full speed drilling. Plenty of live wrestling will be incorporated to train and prepare all wrestlers for the summer dual meet camps.

Nutritious hot and cold lunches are provided in all full day programs, with the exception of Nursery Division June Program.
