The 19th Annual Alumni Council Benefit – Tuesday, April 19, 2022
In person, on campus, and beneath the stars!

For the first time since the pandemic started, the HM alumni community will gather together at the 19th Annual Alumni Council Benefit to kick up their heels, while helping to raise $210,000 for the Student Lunch Initiative. All Horace Mann School alumni are cordially invited to attend.

The Student Lunch Initiative is an important aspect of Horace Mann School's financial aid program, providing approximately 187 students in Grades 6-12 who receive financial aid with prepaid school lunches. It provides students with healthy meals and proper nutrition and helps to ease the economic burden on HM families.

Prior to the 6:30 pm cocktail reception, alumni will be escorted on private tours of HM’s newest facilities, including Lutnick Hall and the Jeffrey H. Loria Family Aquatic Center. During the evening, guests will have the opportunity to bid on a wide selection of exclusive silent auction prizes. Alumni will have plenty of time to reminisce with former schoolmates, meet HM administrators and faculty, and make new acquaintances.

Alumni who were not able to celebrate their reunions in person in 2020 and 2021 are encouraged to attend and help support this worthwhile cause, which directly impacts HM students who receive financial aid and their families.

  • Tickets are $150 per person.
  • Individual sponsorships are available at:  $1,500, which pays for one academic year of school lunches for one student; $2,800, which covers the cost of one academic year of school lunches for two students; and $5,000, which funds one academic year of school lunches for three students.
  • Corporate sponsorships with tiered benefits are offered from $1,500 to $50,000. For more information about corporate sponsorships, please contact Mariel Grossman ’02 (mariel.mangold@gmail.com) or Kate Fisher ’06 (katedfisher@gmail.com).

Sponsors who remit payment by April 1st are listed in the invitation, which is distributed to thousands of HM alumni in the New York City region. Sponsors are also recognized in the Annual Report of Donors and in the Alumni Council Benefit program.
