There is no question that a “virtual” get-together via Zoom, Google Meet, FaceTime, or the like is no substitute for the real thing, but for the many reunion classes who opted to mingle online, doing so turned out to be quite fun!

 

After the COVID-19 pandemic hit, when it became clear that in-person events in 2020 would be out of the question, the Alumni Office offered to assist reunion-year classes with setting up Zoom links for virtual reunions. Alumni who resolved to make the best of a challenging situation and connect with each other via Zoom discovered it was well worth the effort. The Class of 1995 reported a great time was had by all… as evidenced by the fun screenshot they so thoughtfully shared! Alumni from older generations – including the Class of 1960 – also had a terrific time using technology to reconnect and reminisce about their experiences at HM and beyond.
