Horace Mann Internship Program : 2024

The Horace Mann School Summer Internship Program, open to college-aged Alumni and current Upper Division students, is jointly administered by the Parents Association and the Alumni & Development Office. It provides our former and current students with the opportunity to apply for summer internships offered by parents, alumni, and friends of the school.

Opportunities have been provided in a wide range of fields including law, medicine, finance, publishing, theater, fashion, public relations, government, etc. The hours and the duration of the internship are determined by the sponsor. The employer may also limit their position to college students only, if preferred. The positions may be paid or unpaid, depending on the type of opportunity and work required. Companies, large and small, as well as individuals, non-profits, and government agencies offer invaluable learning experiences for our students.

As you know, Horace Mann Alumni and students are bright, motivated and conscientious individuals who are accustomed to doing their best when assigned responsibility. However, should an employer post a position and not find the perfect fit in their roster of applicants, they are not required to hire an HM candidate.

If you're ready to offer a position, please submit the sponsor form below and we will reach out to confirm the details. For additional information please contact Stephanie Sladkus P’20, ’23, Internship Committee Chair, at hminternshipprogram@horacemann.org or the Alumni Office at: internship@horacemann.org
