Jacob learned about the HM Summer Internship Program through school communications and other Upper Division students. During his remote internship, he completed daily projects ranging from website content development and coding to analyzing nonprofit websites and recommending improvements. Through the experience, he strengthened his time-management and communication skills while learning the importance of keeping his manager informed about his progress.

The internship also introduced Jacob to an unexpected interest in marketing while giving him the opportunity to support an important cause: combating human trafficking. He recommends that future interns stay organized by carefully tracking their work and saving useful resources so they can complete projects efficiently and effectively.
