As she reflected on LinkedIn, “Being a new mama can feel extremely isolating — imagine that in addition to having an infant, you had to flee your home country and the life you knew to escape persecution. I am a child of a refugee, a former immigration attorney, a mother, and a social worker who works with hundreds of postpartum women, so this cause is especially close to my heart. Thank you for your support!”

Nicole Dalessandro '11, a product manager, is working for fellow HM Lion Nick Gerard '10, co-founder of Norby, on a major product update, new look, and official public launch after only on year in beta. As Nicole stated, "If someone told me 15 years ago that the time I spent on the student newspaper at Horace Mann School with Nick Gerard would lead me here... I wouldn't have known what to think!"
Reporter Taylor Hatmaker of TechCrunch sums up Norby's concept as follows: "Norby's big idea is to combine services like LinkTree, Eventbrite and MailChimp into a single, affordable, subscription-based service, offering anyone who handles an online community a single solution rather than an expensive patchwork of services that have to be individually set up and managed. Norby is ideal for small brands and solo entrepreneurs, and most of its customers run less than 10-person operations. The creator tool suite is purely subscription-based and won't collect any fees like Eventbrite and other popular services." Your can check out Norby's new site here: https://lnkd.in/eY7MQuX4
