The tuition charge does not include an Enrollment Fee of $100, Parent Association Dues of $85, an Activity Fee of $125, a Facility Improvement fee of $950 for Nursery and Lower Division students and $1,150 for Middle and Upper Division Students, and Middle Division Students Book Fee of $325. These fees are waived for recipients of Financial Aid.
Financial Aid
Horace Mann has a strong commitment to providing Financial Aid to students who could not otherwise attend. All Financial Aid is based on need; no merit scholarships are awarded. For the 2025-2026 academic year, 17% of the students receive more than $16,000,000 in Financial Aid.
Admission to Horace Mann is need-blind. Applicants are evaluated without regard to a request for Aid. However, because we often admit more students that require Aid than we are able to fund, admitted students do not always receive Aid even if they qualify.

Financial Aid Virtual Information Session
Please join Lisa Moreira, Director of Institutional Research & Enrollment Management, and Jahmire Cassanova, Assistant Director of Admissions and Assistant Director of Financial Aid, on Tuesday, October 28th at 7:00PM, for a summary of the Financial Aid process at Horace Mann School. Lisa and Jahmire will walk through the timeline of the Financial Aid process from start to finish, review the documents and materials required for an application to be considered, and allow time for Q&A at the end.
This Information Session will be hosted in a Zoom Webinar format so attendees will be viewable only to the hosts. This webinar is open to families who have inquired or submitted an application for the 2026-27 academic year. Please register in the Ravenna system; a link will be provided a few days in advance to those who have registered. Registration is available via Ravenna.
