Costs

  • Three-Week Full Day Course: $2500
  • Two-Week Full Day Course: $1600
  • One-Week Full Day Course: $800*
  • One-Week Half Day Course: $400
  • Algebra Skills Workshop: Free

* The two courses at Dorr have an additional $50 fee for food and lodging. The Algebra Skills Workshop is free for all students.

The tuition fee is payable in full when billed, prior to the start of the summer session. Students will not be permitted to attend classes until tuition is remitted in full. The Horace Mann School reserves the right to cancel courses or programs at any time if enrollment is insufficient. Cancellations will be posted on the website, and we will make every effort to notify students in under-enrolled courses as early as possible. In the event a class is canceled after payment has already been received, we will process a full refund within a few weeks of the cancellation.

During the Summer Program, lunch is provided for students and included in tuition. Students can choose to eat what we are offering or walk down Broadway to buy lunch at their own expense.

Registration

Families can register within the Veracross Parent Portal. Access to the registration page within the Parent Portal is coming soon.

Applications will be accepted anytime up to the first day of the Summer Program, provided there is still room in the course. Students will be placed on a waitlist if a course is oversubscribed.

Course Refund Policy

Students who withdraw prior to May 11, 2026, will receive a 50% refund.

No refunds will be issued after May 11, 2026.

Financial Aid

A limited amount of Financial Aid may be available to current Financial Aid recipients or those approved for Financial Aid for the 2026-27 academic year, depending upon course enrollment. Families requesting Financial Aid should register but not submit payment until given direction by the Financial Aid Office. When a determination is made regarding availability by course, the Aid recipient's family will be notified of the amount, if any, of aid available and can then make a final decision about whether to enroll and submit payment.
