Physical Education
Because many students are three-season athletes or are enrolled in Dance Performance for PE credit, finding time in a student's schedule to complete the requirement for Health proves difficult. These one-week courses fulfill graduation requirements and allow students some flexibility in scheduling.
Health 1
The Summer Health Education curriculum offers a comprehensive and interactive platform designed exclusively for rising 10th-grade students. This intensive program serves as a forum to delve into various health issues, empowering students to understand, analyze, and make informed decisions directly affecting their quality of life. The skills acquired in this course provide a solid foundation for exploration in key areas such as health and wellness, behavior change, substance use and misuse, sexuality and sexual health, relationships, stress, sleep, mental health, nutrition, and disease risk reduction.
This course is exclusively open to rising 10th graders. Any student who is not a rising 10th grader and wishes to enroll must seek approval from Mr. McDonald or Mr. Russo.
This course runs for one week from Monday, June 16 - Friday, June 20, 2025. It will meet in the morning session, from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. School is closed on Thursday, June 19.
Registration will open in mid-January.

Health 2
The Summer Health Education curriculum offers a comprehensive and interactive platform designed exclusively for rising 12th-grade students. This intensive program serves as a forum to delve into various health issues, empowering students to understand, analyze, and make informed decisions directly affecting their quality of life. Students will also become certified with our blended learning CPR/AED with First Aid for the Professional Rescuer. This program equips students with essential knowledge, hands-on training, and online sessions to provide first aid in emergency situations and leads to certification.
This course is exclusively open to rising 12th graders. Any student who is not a rising 12th grader and wishes to enroll must seek approval from Mr. McDonald or Mr. Russo.
This course runs for one week from Monday, June 16 - Friday, June 20, 2025, 9:00 am-3:00 pm. School is closed on Thursday, June 19.
