For many years, the Horace Mann School has provided an academic summer session for students from Horace Mann and from other public and private schools in the tri-state area. Students come to Summer School for many reasons. Some come to get ahead. Still others use the Summer School program as a way to improve or make up work in certain areas. All students can expect a supportive atmosphere conducive to learning and exploration. The program also provides small class sizes and many opportunities for student-teacher interaction.

Three Week Full-Day Courses: Session I -- Monday, June 22 - Friday, July 10, 2020; Session II -- Monday, July 13 - Friday, July 31, 2020
Offered in Session I -- June 22-July 10: Introduction to Engineering & Robotics; Introduction to Computer Science; Global Architecture; History of the American Musical

Health; Lifeguarding & CPR
The school day runs from 8:45 am-2:00 pm. Physics and Chemistry have an afternoon extra-help session from 2:00-4:00 every afternoon which students are strongly encouraged to attend.
Horace Mann Summer School also offers three non-credit bearing enrichment programs for HM students only: ACT/SAT Prep (June 22-26); Street Photography NYC (June 22-July 10); and HM Summer Film Institute (June 29-July 24).
