Fun with the Micro:bit and Arduino Hardware!; Jason Torres, Instructor

During this hands-on summer course, your child will be programming their very own microcomputer and circuit board! The Micro:bit is a tiny programmable computer that uses block-based coding, designed to make learning easy and fun. Campers can program their microcomputer to do everything from blinking to playing music or making a game. We will also be using Arduinos, where students will learn the basics of Arduino coding in a text-based language and learn how to create circuits using LEDs, buzzers, servos, and more. By the end of the course, students will better understand electronics concepts while building practical, hands-on electronics projects.

This course is for experienced and beginner coders. You do not need to have any prior coding skills to participate!
