Last week was Horace Mann School’s 125^th anniversary celebration. Tents were set up on Clark Field for the extravaganza that hosted alumni, current and former parents, grandparents, faculty and staff. In my Photography 2 class we were given a project to help celebrate the school’s 125^th anniversary. Each student was assigned a teacher or staff member that has been part of the HM community for 25 years or longer. We then took a portrait of our subject and collected a short story about his or her best memory about their time at Horace Mann. In the final presentation we also included photographs of our subject’s first years at Horace Mann. The final presentations of each faculty or staff member were then presented for the 125^th Celebration. They provided a great way to applaud and celebrate the admired teachers and staff of our community who have been here for 25 years or more.
