College Counseling

The College Admissions Process is an important piece of the 11th and 12th grade years at Horace Mann. Parents and students begin the process in the fall of 11th grade with materials from the College Office, and in the spring with a College Planning evening. Students are assigned a College Advisor (different from the Academic Advisor) and will meet with that person throughout the process. Horace Mann students over the years have gone on to attend hundreds of different colleges and universities, and report that the background they received at HM more than prepared them for the challenge.
